HMD Global has begun roll-out new updates for Nokia 3.1 Plus

HMD Global has started rolling out new updates for its entry-level smartphone Nokia 3.1 Plus. Updates have been released for Nokia 3.1 Plus users in India. The size of the update is 70MB and is being rolled out by OTA, which means that users can install themselves in the Settings app on the smartphone itself. Users will get notifications of updates automatically as soon as they are received.

According to the NPU, the latest Android security patches comes with the updated January month for the smartphone. HMD Global recently roll-out this latest security patches for Nokia 6 and Nokia 7.1 too.

Nokia 3.1 Plus MediaTek runs on the octa-core CPU with Helio P22 SoC. It has 32GB of internal storage with 3 GB RAM. With the MicroSD card, the phone’s storage can be increased to 400 GB. Dual camera setup has been given in the back of the smartphone.

The first sensor is 13 megapixels and the second sensor is 5 megapixels. The phone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling. The phone’s camera comes with AI enabled boxy mode. The smartphone does not feature Face Unlock. Nokia 3.1 Plus has a 3,500mAh battery, while Nokia 3.1 has 2,990mAh battery. The phone comes with 5V-2A bundled charger. The smartphone operates on Android 8.0 Oreo.
