Realme has finally launched Realm 3 in India. The company has launched this smartphone in the budget segment and we have already compared it to Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy M20. Now we will compare this smartphone with some of its other strong contenders and see how Reality’s latest smartphone is compared to Nokia 5.1 Plus and Asus Zenfone Max M2.
Price and availability
Realme 3 will be available for purchase in Flipkart and Realme online stores in India from March 12. The company has launched it with two variants in the market. One of them is 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant, which costs Rs 8,999. Its 4 GB RAM and 64GB storage variant costs Rs 10,999. The Nokia 5.1 Plus 32GB storage model is priced at Rs 9,999 and its 64 GB storage model costs Rs 14,350. On the other hand Zenfone Max M2’s 32 GB storage model costs Rs 8,499 and its 64 GB storage model costs Rs 10,499. Nokia and Asus smartphones can be purchased from Flipkart.
MediaTek Helio P70 has been given Octa-Core SoC in Realme 3. It has a 6.3-inch HD + display, which comes with Waterdrop notch and has been given as Aspect ratio of 19: 9. Zenfone Max M2 features a 6.26-inch HD + display. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. On the other hand, Nokia 5.1 Plus has a smaller display than the two, which has a size of 5.8-inch. The display comes with HD + resolution. It has MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. All three smartphones come with 3 GB / 4GB RAM and 32 GB / 64GB storage and their storage can be expanded through the microSD card slot.
Talking about the photography department, all three smartphones come with dual rear camera setup. Realme 3 has 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. In addition it has a 13-megapixel front camera. At the same time, in the back of the Asus Zenfone Max M2, it has been setup like Realme 3. Although it includes an 8-megapixel front camera. Nokia 5.1 Plus has a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor in the back. Apart from this, Nokia 5.1 Plus includes an 8-megapixel front camera.
Battery, software and connectivity
4,230mAh battery is provided in Realme 3. At the same time Asus Zenfone Max M2 has a smaller 4,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the smallest battery in these three is given in Nokia 5.1 Plus. The smartphone comes with 3,060mAh battery. These three smartphones do not come with fast charging support, but it has 10W charging support.
For connectivity, all three smartphones have Dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and GPS with VoLTE. Nokia 5.1 comes with USB Type-C port. On the other hand, the other two smartphones come with Micro USB port. Talking about the software, Nokia and Realme’s smartphones come with Android 9 pie-based OS. At the same time, the Asus smartphone comes with the Stock Experience with the Android 8.1 OSO OS. The company has promised to release Android 9 pie for the smartphone this year.
